THE MERMAID

Deep down the ocean there lived a mermaid called Katy. Her dad was the king of the ocean. Her dad loves her a lot and never let her go anywhere alone. Everyday evening Katy sits on a rock and view the human world. She was very fascinated with the humans. It became her dream to become a human for at least a day.

Finally, one day she goes and tell her dad about her wild dream. He was so angry and told her she can't go anywhere from now on. He locked her in her room. Katy cried so much and asked her dad to turn her into a human for a day, as her dad had magical powers. But he didn't listen to her.
Katy didn't eat anything from two days and cried continuously. Her dad couldn't bear to see her like that. He finally agreed for her wish.

Katy was the happiest girl. She took her first step on the ground. She didn't know how to walk properly, but managed somehow. She was walking down the beach when she saw a very handsome guy. He came to her and introduces himself. He was very friendly with her. She told him she is new to the town. So he promised her that he will show her the best places. By the end of the day he did as he promised. Katy had the best day of her life. She thanked him and went. She never told him who she was or anything.
Once she was back, she told all her mermaid friends about her day as a human. That was the best day of her life.
