I could see some posts being uploaded this week and its a great sign!. Its good to see a consolidated scene as well share with others. I see the illustrations getting better and forcing your imaginative skills. Keep it up.
Creating a story from unconnected scenes was a fruitful challenge. I saw some students breaking the barrier of starting and characterization. Though this makes it easy to write the story, it creates a new situation for the writers. Its only an exercise. Connecting the unconnected is a special skill of designers. It sets them apart with many other professionals. Make yourself open to many such situations like connecting two different materials like wood and steel and solving the problem of joint. Designers often fall into these situations while designing.
Story boards are old techniques. It shows your ability to plan and tell a story visually. A good story board shows personality of character and a clean story line. It also shows an exciting idea of visual story telling. This technique is largely used in making Animation Movies and many films, it is also used in the areas of interaction design.
Photo boards are slightly different from storyboards. Its often hard to create personalities of characters instead you start using available objects. Then the story boards have the same process.
